These terms are an agreement between you and Sniffo. Sniffo (“Sniffo”, “we”, “us”) is a business based in Dublin, Ireland. By creating an account or using Sniffo you accept these terms. If you use Sniffo for a business, you accept them on behalf of that business.
1. What Sniffo is
Sniffo is an app for pet care professionals to manage clients, dogs, bookings, check-ins, payments, invoices and a public availability page. Sniffo does not take part in the care of any animal and is not a party to any agreement between you and your clients.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and use Sniffo for your pet care business. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password safe, and for everything done through your account and by the team members you invite.
3. Beta and pricing
Sniffo is currently in beta and free to use. Features may change while we build it. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance. We will never charge you without your explicit agreement, and you can keep exporting your data or delete your account at any time.
4. Your content
You own the data you put into Sniffo. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you (for example, to sync it to your team or show it on your public page if you turn that on).
You confirm that you have the right to add the data you enter. In particular, you are responsible for telling your clients that you keep their details in Sniffo, for having their permission before publishing photos of their dogs or their reviews on your public page, and for making sure reviews you publish are genuine.
5. Data processing for your clients’ data
For personal data about your clients that you add to Sniffo, you are the controller and Sniffo is your processor under Article 28 GDPR. Sniffo will:
- process that data only on your instructions, meaning to provide the service as described here;
- make sure anyone processing it is bound to confidentiality;
- keep appropriate technical and organisational security measures;
- use only the sub-processors listed in our Privacy policy, and tell you before adding new ones;
- help you respond to requests from your clients exercising their rights, and with breach notifications, as far as reasonably possible;
- delete the data when you delete it or your account, as described in the Privacy policy;
- make available the information needed to show compliance with these obligations.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use Sniffo to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to send spam, to publish misleading content, or to try to access other businesses’ data or interfere with the service.
7. Availability
We work to keep Sniffo available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” during beta and we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own records of anything critical to your business.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sniffo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profit or lost business), and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and €100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Sniffo and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable. We will give at least 30 days’ notice if we ever shut the service down, so you can export your data.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply. Continuing to use Sniffo after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
